7 Quick Takes: Weekend Reading Vol. 1
Hi, friends! I'm linking up with Jen today, sharing with you some links for the weekend. I don't know if you're like me, but I love catching up on my blog reading over the weekend and I get positively giddy when I see a list of links to click on. ;-)
You all know Ana, right? Go on over and congratulate her and the rest of the Hahns on their adorable new addition!!!
Ana didn't put up the birth story yet, but if you're in a birth story mood, click on over to Tess. All of us have our "dream births" and Tess's ended up being the exact opposite of her plan...but she writes about it with her classic wit and wisdom. Real. Lovely.
While we're discussing the incredibly lovely, have you checked out the new series that Amy is running, in particular, her latest post?! I had the pleasure of participating in her recent Motherhood: Expectations vs. Reality blog hop, and I'm excited to see where she takes the The Happy Wife project this year.
Her latest post has been ruminating in my head since I read it. Yes, I have to sacrifice some things as a mother...but do I sometimes sacrifice some things unnecessarily? What can I still make time for in my life?
I know that I'm not the only one out there who has been living vicariously through people's posts about Edel. I absolutely love Bonnie, and I love her take on Edel, because it's pretty much what I would be thinking if I were there. Starstruck, nervous...but so excited! Check out her inside scoop.
And I'm hoping that you all got to read at least of few of the #edelwidower tweets? There are some really excellent ones from the Edel husbands if you scroll through the #edel14 tweets. Hilarity such as only Catholic husbands are capable of. ;-)
If you, or any woman you know, worries about her weight...send her over to Amelia! Her post is spot on, and so, so true.
Kendra is full of all kinds of wisdom, and I particularly suggest her post for nfp week. Fertility isn't guaranteed, as Auntie Leila reminds us, as well.
While you're at it, check out Rosie's post about how she's not afraid of her fertility anymore!
This post of Haley's stirred all kinds of controversy...but I absolutely loved it! And you will, too.
Lest I get my Catholic Mom blogger certificate revoked...gratuitous baby picture!!
