What a beautiful friend and patron! The Carmelite monastery we visited on her feast day adorned her picture with roses upon roses! Lovely.

This past weekend we visited some dear friends to celebrate the first birthday of a very dear little boy (who also happens to be one of Sister Stinky's favorite little friends!). It was a wonderful weekend and we are so blessed to have these friends in our lives.

This was one of the highlights of the weekend for Sister Stinky...trying to go "night-night" in a doll bed. My friend's mother had brought this old doll bed and two dear little dolls for Sister Stinky to play with (we've seen a lot of the parents and siblings of these friends at their various family functions and they're all kind of in love with our little Stinky). She seemed unfazed by the size discrepancy issue...

Despite all the busyness of our Monday, I felt so blessed to be able to celebrate the Feast of St. Therese with my little family. Through all the ups and downs of the last 8 years or so (since I first befriended her) St. Therese has been a faithful friend, and I'm so grateful for her!

  1. awwww! and she looks even bigger in comparison to that bed than in person - must have been because she had the blanket pulled on when i saw her :)
