{phfr} - Strawberry Fields Forever

Linking to {pretty-happy-funny-real} at "Like Mother, Like Daughter"...you MUST check out this lovely blog!

Sister Stinky and Le Squeak. These two lovely ladies are best friends. Fortunately, their mamas are best friends, too. Strawberry picking with two sets of best friends = good times had by all!

Toddler picky eating has kept me worried (even though I know it's perfectly normal). She's just so little! Thankfully, devouring several pounds of strawberries probably fattened her up a bit. Sister Stinky was in heaven!

Avid love of camera is trumped by strawberries. That says a lot about the quality of said strawberries. Pretty much nothing trumps camera on a normal basis.

Despite the "help" of our toddlers, the mama of Le Squeak and I each managed to fill a box with delicious strawberries. I remember sitting in the hospital after giving birth to Sister Stinky, trying to eat a meal with one hand for the first time (said baby occupying the other arm). A nurse commented to me, "You'd be amazed what you can accomplish with one hand once you're a mom." Amen to that, sister.

Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers out there - Moms (both to children on earth and children in heaven), Grandmas, godmothers, spiritual mothers of every and every kind. Thank you all for saying "yes" to your vocation! (Especially Happy Mother's Day to my mom (a.k.a. "Grammy"), my mom-in-law (a.k.a. "Grandma"), my sister (godmom to my girl), to my grandmas in heaven, and my grandma-in-law on earth, and to my Aunt Kathy (my godmother)....

...and, of course, Happy Mothers Day to Mary. But that goes without saying, right?)
