Jiggity Jig

Home again, home again...jiggity jig! (Someone tell me that they know what song I'm referring to here...)

We made it. We survived an enjoyable but exhausting week and a half with both of our sides of the family, a time which also including catching up with some friends, my graduation from graduate school (I got my degree last August and so I was able to participate in the Commencement exercises for the graduate school this May), a three day long conference for the Abbot and probably a bajillion things I'm forgetting. Yep. We're all pretty exhausted.

My favorite part? Splitting my fries at a phenomenal burger place with the world's tiniest Eastern Rite Catholic priest:

You kinda had to be there.

  1. To market, to market to buy a fat pig.
Home again, home again, jiggity jig.

  2. Do her little feet reach the petals? Too cute! And...Fr. Michael! hahahaha! Where was his friennd Fr. Pius??? Hahaha.....

    1. Not quite! She had Mommy and Daddy running up and down the driveway with her. My parents were delighted as it is actually the trike I used as a toddler! Fr. Pius stayed back at my ECHO parish, sadly. :-(

    2. It looks just like the trike my brother used to ride:) You could always make another "Fr. Pius" but call him by whichever church you attend. So his name would now be "Fr. John Vianney", or something like that:) As always, I love your posts and May 30 was St. Joan of Arc's feast day!!! She's my confirmation saint:)
