WIWS - Just about 24 weeks!

Joining up with the lovely ladies at Fine Linen and Purple for What I Wore Sunday!

Just a couple days shy of 24 weeks, and Baby Sister sure is growing! Am I the only mom who breathes a huge sigh of relief when she reaches this point, knowing that my daughter would have a chance at survival outside of me if she had to? (Of course, I would like her to stay put for at least another 13 weeks, thankyouverymuch!)

One the other young mothers at our parish was kind enough to tell me that I looked small for 24 weeks. Much appreciated ;-) I'm definitely starting to feel big, but I try to remember how much bigger I'm going to get before this girl is through growing in-utero!

The good news is that my bigger size is due at least in part to my nausea being helped by the arrival of Spring!!!! The warmer temperatures and fresh breezes have been helping my nausea not to be so severe, and I am immensely grateful!

Of course, the saints attended Mass today (my set-up, not Sister Stinky's...just trying to plant ideas in her head so that one day she'll have cool play ideas like other Catholic kids out there!)

This is the dollhouse she and I have been refinishing...and it's pretty much going to end up being my dream dollhouse. Because she's obsessed with her saint dolls (and they'll be the main residents of the doll house) we're converting the attic space to a chapel inspired by our own lovely parish. It's still a work in progress...but I'm so excited about it! If you haven't already, browse through the My Domestic Monastery store for your own fun Catholic toys (and don't forget it's pick your price!).

    1. Thanks, Shannon! The dollhouse is actually this one:

I got it for $15 off of Craigslist (a fantastic find!) about a year ago and have been tweaking it in bits or pieces, but in the past week or so I've made some big changes to it! It's not quite done, but it'll have it's own post once it is. Stay tuned!
