"Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!"

Tonight is the vigil of Palm Sunday.

And so it begins.

The holiest of all the weeks of the year.

You may recall the wooden figures I mentioned in an earlier post, inspired by the catechesis that this beautiful mother shares and by my experience with Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.

They have been transformed into a beautiful, hands-on way for Sister Stinky to celebrate Holy Week.

Sister Stinky loves them! Already we shared the story of Palm Sunday with her twice - once using the 2nd option for the Processional Gospel for Palm Sunday (the Gospel that is read before the palms are blessed by the priest) and once using a lovely picture book that I grew up with.

I'm glad that she is already been playing with the Jesus figure for a while, because it helps her to know that the figure does, indeed, represent "Jee" (her name for Jesus).

Many blessings as you begin this Holy Week!
